Manager of Accreditation, Assessment and Student Success

We are searching for an experienced Manager of Accreditation, Assessment and Student Success at our Goldsmith Campus - Westchester campus. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Accreditation, Assessment and Student Success Manager leads and coordinates assessment and student success monitoring activities within the Provost's Office to strengthen academic programs and support institutional compliance with WSCUC and NASAD standards. This position manages academic assessment cycles, oversees data systems and reporting processes, and contributes to institutional planning and improvement efforts. In addition, the role provides oversight for student success monitoring tools such as the Academic Response Team reports and the EdSights platform, ensuring timely identification and follow-up for students of concern and using data to inform systemic interventions. The Manager works closely with Academic Chairs, faculty, and campus partners to provide guidance, training, and support, and collaborates with the Associate Provost of Educational Effectiveness and Enrollment Management in the preparation of reports and analyses. This position reports to the Associate Provost for Educational Effectiveness and Enrollment Management.

 

CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES 

Assessment & Accreditation

• Project manage academic program review and annual assessment cycles, including timelines, calendars, and documentation systems.
• Maintain and refine assessment processes, including templates, reporting formats, and archiving systems.
• Support the implementation, operationalization, and assessment of institutional learning outcomes.
• Provide guidance and logistical support to Academic Chairs, faculty, and administrators on assessment methods and program review best practices.
• Coordinate logistics for external reviewers, including travel arrangements, honorarium processes, and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements by supporting data collection, editing reports, and monitoring standards.

Student Success & Reporting

• Oversee weekly Academic Response Team (ART) reporting, ensuring timely and accurate updates to inform institutional response.
• Manage the EdSights platform, including:
- Reviewing student responses and identifying students of concern in need of follow-up.
- Initiating outreach in collaboration with Advising and Student Affairs.
- Analyzing dashboard data to identify patterns and recommend systemic interventions.
• Collaborate with Institutional Research, Career Services, Academic Advising, Admissions, and Enrollment Management to collect and synthesize data on student outcomes such as retention, persistence, and graduation.
• Prepare summary analyses and contribute to reports that support institutional planning and student success initiatives.

Collaboration & Support

• Work in close collaboration with the Associate Provost of Educational Effectiveness and Enrollment Management on analyses and reporting.
• Serve as a resource to faculty and staff by providing training, technical expertise, and support in assessment practices.
• Maintain strong relationships across the College, demonstrating organizational awareness, openness to collaboration, and effective communication.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with sensitive institutional data and communications.
• Identify challenges proactively, recommend solutions, and troubleshoot missing or incomplete information.




Required Qualifications:

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, and 4-6 years of work experience in higher education administration, assessment and/or accreditation.

• Familiarity with regional and specialized accreditation standards; knowledge of WSCUC and NASAD preferred.

• Experience with academic assessment practices, program review cycles, and student learning outcomes evaluation.

• Must be able to exercise sound judgment, strategic thinking, discretion, and tact in a confidential and professional setting.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Banner, Argos, and Watermark SaaS (or similar platforms).

• Knowledge of FERPA regulations and experience handling sensitive institutional data with discretion.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present data through reports, dashboards, or executive summaries for diverse audiences.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across academic and administrative departments while also working independently.

• Respond to work-related communications promptly and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

FLSA Status: Exempt

 

Compensation Type: Annual Salary

Salary Range: 59,835.00 - 71,979.00
