Located on the vibrant, diverse West Side of Buffalo NY, D'Youville is an innovative, private, coeducational institution serving 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students. D'Youville is immersed in ambitious and exciting change initiatives to reframe traditional practices and structures to further grow enrollment, improve the health of the community, and profoundly impact student success. D'Youville seeks a dynamic Director of Online Learning and team member who will lead and execute our strategic vision and support our online programs, faculty, and students. At D?Youville we believe everyone should have access to a high-quality education that prepares them for family-sustaining careers. Having job or family obligations should not be a barrier to earning a degree. To help us meet this mission we have added ten new online degree programs in two years, and we are committed to growing our online enrollments by 1,000 students. The Director of Online Learning will be responsible for providing our faculty and online students with a Best in Class experience. As we rapidly grow our online offerings, our faculty need to stay current on emerging pedagogical innovation, technologies, and best-practices. Similarly, our online students need access to student support services in a way that meets their unique needs. A sample of the job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Continual improvement of the college-wide infrastructure which supports online learning Responsible for all faculty development related to online and hybrid learning Serve on college committees to create and reviews policies related to online/hybrid learning Manage all aspects of the Online Learning department, including performance evaluation, budgeting, and professional develop activities Maintain the front-end of Canvas, the College?s LMS, and oversee processes related to course and user account creation, LTI integration, etc. The Director of Online Learning will serve in an administrative leadership position as member of the Online Learning team and reports directly to the Dean of Online Learning.
