Job Description:
Madison College in Madison, Wisconsin, invites applicants for the position of Dean, School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This position provides strategic leadership in academic program management, faculty and staff development and resource allocation in the assigned school to ensure high-quality, student-centered education. Success in this role involves overseeing curriculum development, financial planning and institutional collaboration to align programs with workforce needs and institutional priorities. This position contributes to institutional objectives by fostering an inclusive learning environment, building strong industry and community partnerships and implementing long-term strategies that enhance student success and operational effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level: Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Work Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant, progressive professional experience, including three (3) to five (5) years of both people management experience, including faculty. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in a discipline represented or related within the school.

Question 1: Describe your approach to strategic leadership within an academic environment. In your response, outline how your leadership has influenced organizational direction, strengthened culture, and/or advanced institutional priorities. (1000 words or less)
Question 2: The School of STEM is the largest School at Madison College and includes both liberal arts transfer and applied programming. Describe the experiences that have equipped you to lead faculty, programs, and cross-functional initiatives at this scale and with this diverse portfolio. (500 words or less)
