About the role
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and motivated research-active academic to contribute to the teaching and administration of the Bachelor of Business Degree in Digital Business. We are looking for a dynamic experienced and motivated individual who will bring professional and academic experience to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in teaching.
This role is based in Weihai, China where students are taught in English and complete their University of Waikato degree. Please see the links for the detailed role descriptions: Lecturer and Senior Lecturer.
Who are you?
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Digital Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, be able to demonstrate experience in teaching to large and small groups of students for whom English is not their first language and have an established publication record. An understanding of China and its culture would be an advantage.
Lecturer candidates are expected to demonstrate a developing research profile, including evidence of publishing success.
Senior Lecturer candidates are expected to demonstrate an internationally recognised research profile, including quality publications, supervision experience, and the ability to attract research funding.
