Job Summary:
The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program in the College of Health Science and Public Health Administration at Eastern Washington University (EWU) invites applications for a full-time (9 month) tenure-track faculty appointment at the Associate or Full Professor rank to begin August 16, 2027. We desire a team-oriented individual who will collaborate to deliver an excellent educational experience in a student-centered environment. Qualified candidates with all areas of expertise are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with interest and experience teaching the integumentary system, cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, lifespan development, professional responsibilities and/or introductory examination and intervention skills. Rank will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
The DPT Program is located at EWU Spokane, a health sciences campus with modern space and facilities next to downtown Spokane. The Spokane campus is a satellite of EWU's main campus in Cheney, WA, a short 20-minute drive from Downtown Spokane. Our residential DPT Program is 33 months in length, has 9 full-time faculty members, and admits 38 students each fall. Opportunities for summer teaching may be available. Our longstanding program has been CAPTE accredited for decades. Spokane is the heart of the Inland Northwest, with excellent restaurants, theaters, shopping, skiing, hiking, lakes, and high-quality schools and affordable housing.

The expected salary upon hire is $100,614 (Associate Professor) and $126,543 (Full Professor). In addition to the salary the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement.
