Role Summary
The Graduate Assistant (GA) works collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Student Engagement and Campus Recreation to support campus recreation and student programs and engagement events and activities. The GA will also serve as a mentor and peer-professional advisor for student leaders.
This role is designed to provide the GA professional experience in a higher education setting while supporting the operational goals of the department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, collaborator, flexible and high energy individual who can balance their academic workload as well as their student engagement responsibilities. They must be proficient with social media, organized, creative and have the ability to work nights and weekends.
