The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology beginning Fall 2026. Expectations include, but are not limited to, teaching, research, student advisement, university service, and continuing professional development. This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Psychology.
The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Oneonta is a thriving department of ten full-time faculty members with diverse research interests that create an engaging learning environment characterized by accessible faculty, teamwork, student research opportunities, and technology-supported classrooms. The department is committed to providing a solid knowledge base in psychology, fostering scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills, promoting competence in written and oral communication, and supporting ethical and social responsibility in a diverse world.
