POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice Provost for Academic Resource Management is responsible for strategic resource planning across the division of Academic Affairs, including budget management, labor relations, and academic space allocation. This includes ensuring resources are optimized across Academic Affairs and are aligned with institutional priorities to support the University's Strategic Plan. This position will be actively involved in managing the subvention allocation process in support of the University's new activity-based budget model; engage with academic deans and chief business officers on resource management and multi-year financial planning; and supervise staff who oversee labor relations and matters pertaining to academic personnel for the Office of the Provost. In addition, this role serves as a key advisor to the Provost on all financial and resource allocation matters within Academic Affairs.
