The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Purdue University invites applications for a faculty position in Experimental Relativistic Heavy-Ion Physics to begin August 2027. The current relativistic heavy-ion efforts in the department involve physics analyses of the RHIC/STAR/sPHENIX and LHC/CMS experiments, detector design and simulation works on the ePIC experiment at the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC), and AI-facilitated research on the EIC under the DOE's Genesis Mission.
