The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences invites applications for the position of a   Full Professor (W3) of Plant-Soil Interactions  at the Institute of Crop Science to be filled by April 1, 2028. The position holder is expected to address practice-oriented agricultural topics in plant nutrition, with a particular focus on plant and soil health. Innovative fertilization strategies and interactions at the root–soil interface may constitute key areas of research. The candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of agricultural systems and an orientation toward the principles of sustainability.  They should be capable of conducting both greenhouse experiments and field trials, and of actively contributing to interdisciplinary research consortia.
