The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and assessment of neurologic populations, including those with epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia and neuro-oncology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The candidate should be licensed (or license eligible) in Pennsylvania, have completed a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology according to the Houston Conference Guidelines and be eligible for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology. Applicants will have a minimum of two years of experience (including post-doctoral training) conducting assessments of individuals with a variety of neurological problems, excellent written and oral communication skills, integrative report writing skills, and interpersonal and time management skills, and experience working in an interdisciplinary setting.

Teaching responsibilities may include providing clinical supervision for trainees at the pre-doctoral (practicum and internship) and post-doctoral level, supervising staff psychometricians, participating in neuropsychology seminar series, and participating in intern and postdoctoral trainee application review and interviews.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing neuropsychological evaluations in a high-volume assessment service, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care tailored to the neurologic populations served, providing consultation to multidisciplinary teams, including pre-surgical evaluations, and providing expertise in evaluation of cognition on collaborative clinical research.

Clinical practice will be at multiple out-patient Penn Medicine clinic locations, with the potential for occasional in-patient consultation.
