Property Law - Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law

Primary Purpose and Essential Functions:
The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law to teach property law commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year. We seek applications from exceptional candidates with a passion for teaching and scholarship, and who are excited about being part of a collegial, student-oriented, committed faculty.Other curricular needs include constitutional law, contracts, intellectual property, business associations, remedies, family law, employment law, community property, criminal procedure, wills and trusts, negotiation, mediation, and legal research and writing. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree.
  • Exceptional academic record.

  • Demonstrated interest in teaching and research.
  • Commitment to the vision, mission, and core values of the law school.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Technological competence.
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
