Part-Time ACCESS Counselor
Campus Location: Lynn
Work Schedule: T/W/Th 8:00am-2:00pm (18 Hours per week) with some flexibility
SALARY: $36.55/hr.
Grant-funded, MCCC non-benefited position

ACCESS PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The ACCESS program is an inclusive postsecondary education program at NSCC that expands opportunities for college access and engagement among students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing meaningful participation in NSCC coursework, campus life, and career exploration. As part of that work, NSCC is working to partner with local public school districts to serve students ages 18-22 who remain eligible for special education services under an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and are enrolled in a district's postsecondary transitional bridge programs.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The ACCESS counselor will work collaboratively with the ACCESS program manager, staff, faculty, community, and partnering school districts to help recruit, advise, and support the success, meaningful campus integration, and participation of students with developmental and intellectual disabilities in joining and navigating the ACCESS program and larger campus community at NSCC.
