Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $31.49 Hourly
Maximum $31.49 Hourly
Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Banner, PeopleAdmin, or similar systems).
- Data visualization and storytelling techniques.
Skill:
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Database management and reporting
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to:
- Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
- Ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2 or more years of experience in HR, data analysis, or a similar role (higher-education experience is preferred).
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications:
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a private higher education and HR environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with reporting requirements for higher education institutions (e.g., IPEDS, EEO-1).
- Knowledge of employment law and university HR policies.
