Assistant Professor of Law, Constitutional Law

Primary Purpose and Essential Functions:
The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law to teach constitutional law commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year. Eligible candidates can be considered for the Anthony M. Kennedy Chair. We seek applications from exceptional candidates with a passion for teaching and scholarship, and who are excited about being part of a collegial, student-oriented, committed faculty.

Other curricular needs include property, contracts, intellectual property, business associations, remedies, family law, employment law, community property, criminal procedure, wills and trusts, negotiation, mediation, and legal research and writing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree.

This is an in-person role, and the successful candidate must be willing to relocate within California, preferably within 25 miles of the Sacramento Pacific campus.
