Carroll University seeks to hire Adjunct Instructor of First-Year Experience Course in General Education

FYE100 | First-Year Experience
Course: First-Year Experience 100 is a required course for all incoming new, first-year students. The course is designed to explore the skills required to be a successful and healthy student, build community and identity, and develop relationships with students, faculty, and staff to live a meaningful life through the Carroll Ethos. Students build their academic tool kit and learn to navigate the campus and academic and social life. Students will use aspects of their tool kit to investigate a global challenge and the opportunities for change.

Various Days and Times | On Campus

Term: Fall 2026

Qualifications: A graduate degree (e.g., M.S. or Ph.D.) in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, or a related field. Official transcripts due upon hire.

Carroll University: Founded in 1846, Carroll University is an independent, co-educational comprehensive university grounded in the liberal arts tradition. The Pioneer Core general education curriculum has a strong emphasis on developing intercultural awareness, including cross-cultural immersion experiences. Carroll University is located in suburban Waukesha, 16 miles west of Milwaukee and 60 miles east of Madison. The University serves approximately 3500 students. The University, though intentionally ecumenical and non-sectarian in approach, is related to the Presbyterian Church, USA. Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
