Job Summary
The Business Relationship Coordinator for the School of Business (SBA) builds and maintains relationships with local, state, and regional businesses to support student internships and employment pathways. The position ensures that external partners, alumni, and business community stakeholders are engaged in activities that strengthen the School¿s visibility, employer connections, and professional development opportunities for students. This role also coordinates alumni data collection and manages SBA social media presence to deepen engagement and enhance communication. The position reports to the Dean and Associate Dean of the School of Business.
Responsibilities
1 -
Build and sustain relationships with employers and business partners to expand internship and career opportunities for SBA students.
2 -
Coordinate the activities of the SBA Board of Visitors, Corporate Affiliates, DAART, and other key stakeholder groups to strengthen engagement and support School initiatives.
3 -
Lead the collection, management, and reporting of SBA alumni data to support strategic planning, accreditation needs, and program assessment.

Develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives that enhance communication and ongoing involvement with the School.

Manage SBA social media presence through strategic content creation that highlights student successes, alumni updates, and business partnerships.
6 -
Support SBA Centers and business focused programs through coordinated outreach, events, and partnership development.
7 -
Support and document SBA societal impact activities, including community engagement, public service initiatives, impact reporting, and related AACSB accreditation documentation.
8 -
Compile and report key performance metrics related to employer engagement, alumni outcomes, events, and digital outreach.
9 -
Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the School of Business.
Required Qualifications
2 Year / Associate Degree
3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in higher education environment
Previous experience and/or education in sales, marketing, communications, alumni relations, event planning, or related area
Proposed Salary
$38,300 - $45,900; Salary offer will be dependent on candidate¿s experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.
