Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $64,000.00 Annually
Maximum $69,000.00 Annually

Job Summary
In collaboration with the Associate Dean of Clinical Education and Assistant Director of Clinical Education, monitor and manage the third and fourth year curriculum for students pursuing the DO degree at COMP-Northwest (transitioning to its new name, the Heatherington College of Osteopathic Medicine (HCOM)). This includes working closely with the Rotations Coordinators in the COMP-Northwest (HCOM) Department of Clinical Education, and assigning tasks and work projects as needed, collaboration in the development of core third and fourth year curricula (rotation sites), and collaboration with all other pertinent departments that contribute toward the third and fourth year WesternU/COMP and COMP-Northwest (HCOM) curriculum.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Skills:

  • Good computer skills necessary to set up document formats in Microsoft Office, and any other software programs required by the position and familiarity with the use of the Internet.
  • Experience with calculator, fax, copy machine, printers and telephone operation.


Abilities:

  • Ability to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, students, and outside contacts. Exercise good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.

Required Qualifications
Education:

  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Any combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this job in a satisfactory manner.


Experience:

  • 3 or more years administrative; 2 years experience in a medical environment; and 2 years in an academic environment.
  • Management or supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
Education:

  • Master’s degree preferred.
