Assistant Director, Enrollment Systems & Operations (CRM Administrator)

Job Description Summary:
The Assistant Director, Enrollment Systems & Operations (CRM Administrator) serves as the primary functional and operational owner of the University’s CRM (Slate) within Enrollment Management. This role is responsible for system configuration, workflow development, data management, and the execution of CRM-driven communications.

Working in close partnership with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Communications & Strategy, the CRM Administrator translates communication strategy into scalable workflows and ensures the accurate and timely delivery of communications. This role provides technical leadership for CRM operations, including system administration, integrations, and data governance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3–5+ years of CRM experience.
  • Strong technical, data and project management skills.
  • Experience with workflow configuration and system administration.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of Slate CRM experience in a higher education setting.



Specific Duties:
Duty:

CRM Strategy Translation & Enrollment Operations






  • Serve as functional owner of Slate CRM.

  • Translate enrollment and communication strategies into workflows and processes.

  • Ensure system readiness for recruitment cycles.

Percentage of Time: 25%

Duty:

Workflow & Campaign Execution






  • Build and deploy communication workflows (email, SMS, triggers).

  • Implement segmentation and automation based on strategy.

  • Ensure accuracy and timing of all CRM communications.

Percentage of Time: 20%

Duty:

Segmentation & Data Governance






  • Co-own segmentation strategy (with AD).

  • Maintain queries, audience definitions, and naming conventions.

  • Ensure data integrity and scalability.

Percentage of Time: 10%

Duty:

System Configuration & Administration






  • Configure forms, applications, portals, and workflows.

  • Manage permissions and system governance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Percentage of Time: 15%

Duty:

Training & User Support






  • Serve as CRM expert for Enrollment staff.

  • Provide training and documentation.

  • Support adoption of CRM best practices.

Percentage of Time: 10%

Duty:

Systems Integration & IT Partnership






  • Partner with IT on integrations (Banner, etc.).

  • Define functional requirements and support testing.

Percentage of Time: 10%

Duty:

Vendor & System Maintenance






  • Manage CRM vendor relationships.

  • Coordinate updates and enhancements.

Percentage of Time: 5%

Duty:

Reporting & Data Support






  • Build reports and queries.

  • Support performance analysis.

Percentage of Time: 5%

Salary Range
Maximum:
$97,371.09
Minimum: $87,177.30
