About the Department/College
The Department of Occupational Therapy is located on NAU's Phoenix Bioscience Core campus, where students have access to cutting edge technology, facilities, and labs. The department offers the Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree in a Traditional or Hybrid path, preparing students to work with clients across all stages of life in a wide range of settings. This accredited degree is the only public and non-profit graduate program in the Southwest United States.
About the Position
Northern Arizona University's entry-level doctoral Occupational Therapy (OT) Program, located in the downtown Phoenix Bioscience Core Campus, invites doctorally prepared candidates to apply to full-time, 9 month clinical faculty appointments available that align with their expertise. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include teaching traditional or hybrid courses related to one or more of the following topics: occupational therapy theory and practice models, occupational therapy foundations of practice, the occupational therapy process across the lifespan, and other specialized topics aligned with program needs. This position is for the hybrid pathway with preferred experience in pediatrics. The hybrid pathway includes online learning as well as in-person labs 8 weekends per semester. In addition, clinical faculty will engage in student advisement, applied scholarly activities, professional service, and additional duties that support the program's mission and growth.

Commensurate with experience. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.

Northern Arizona University requires satisfactory results for the following: a criminal background investigation, an employment history verification and a degree verification (in some cases) prior to employment. You may also be required to complete a fingerprint background check. Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire and Security Report
Each year Northern Arizona University releases an Annual Security Report. The report is a result of a federal law known as the Clery Act. The report includes Clery reportable crime statistics for the three most recent completed calendar years and discloses procedures, practices and programs NAU uses to keep students and employees safe including how to report crimes or other emergencies occurring on campus. In addition, the Fire Safety Report is combined with the Annual Security Report for the NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus as this campus has on-campus student housing. This report discloses fire safety policies and procedures related to on-campus student housing and statistics for fires that occurred in those facilities.
