Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $80,000.00 Annually
Maximum $82,000.00 Annually

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Admissions oversees the admissions strategy for their assigned programs and management of designated admission staff. This position has the principal responsibility for leadership and management of all phases of the admissions process and works closely with college administration and faculty to meet enrollment goals.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Banner and Slate is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with prospective students, applicants, staff, faculty, and administration.
  • Experience developing and implementing recruitment plans; managing a budget, and data analysis skills.
  • Good organizational skills required.
  • Ability to learn, interpret and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting F-1 international students and their dependents.
  • Experience working with SEVIS.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.


Required Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

 


Experience:
  • Minimum of four to five years of experience in university admissions and recruitment or a similar recruitment setting.
  • Minimum two years off administrative management or leadership experience in an office of admission or equivalent field.

Travel:
  • Must have a willingness to travel as needed during peak recruiting seasons, as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred or any combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and ability.
