Job Summary/Basic Function
To provide administrative leadership for the Office of Partnerships and Field Experiences, including the coordination of all activities related to placing candidates in area schools and agencies for educator preparation programs across the university. The Director reports to the Dean of the College of Health, Education, and Human Services and is responsible for personnel, fiscal policies and procedures relating to clinical experiences. This position has an Instructor appointment within the Department of Teacher Education
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge of current state and national standards for the teaching profession, especially those pertaining to clinical experiences
• Recent experience in P-12 schools;
• Teaching experience in higher education;
• Leadership, administrative, or supervisory experience in P-12 schools or other organizations;
• Experience serving as a clinical or field experiences supervisor, cooperating teacher, or mentor;
• Demonstrated professionalism and strong interpersonal skills that enhance the interaction between clinical experiences office and the internal and external constituencies it serves.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes, such as CAEP, etc.

Working Conditions
Standard office environment, requires ability to travel to meetings/conferences, etc. May require evening or weekend hours for events.
