Position Summary

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Professor of Veterinary Medicine at its College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) located on the main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee. This position is well-suited for a veterinarian with a passion for teaching and clinical instruction within a collaborative academic environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate, graduate, and professional veterinary programs, with a primary focus on anatomy and clinical skills instruction, supporting LMU’s mission of excellence in veterinary education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach veterinary anatomy and clinical skills across CVM undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs

  • Contribute to curriculum development and instructional innovation

  • Participate in service activities supporting the College, University, and profession

  • Engage in scholarly activity appropriate to rank and experience

Required Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.S., Ph.D., and/or specialty board certification

  • Prior teaching experience in veterinary or health sciences education

  • Demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and professional development

Rank & Compensation

  • Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
