Job Summary
The student Office Assistant will provide administrative support and serves as initial contact for the department in the absence of the Administrative Assistant. Office Assistant answers the telephones, assesses, and responds to inquiries, provides appropriate information and direction for students, staff, and faculty.
Essential Duties
  • Answer telephone
  • Provides support when Administrative Assistant is not available
  • Distributes incoming mail
  • Provides direction for students, faculty, and staff
  • Makes and distributes copies
  • Organizes supplies
  • Other duties relevant to the position
Required Qualifications
MWSU Student
Degree Seeking
At least an overall 2.0 GPA
Enrolled at least part-time
Preferred Qualifications  
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good people skills
  • Flexibility
  • Have the ability to self-regulate and manage time

 

 
Physical Demands Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
