Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Hematology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is preferred in the specific area of transfusion medicine, particularly as it pertains to hematologic disorders. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree or equivalent degree. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine and Hematology strongly preferred.

Teaching responsibilities may include active and high-quality teaching opportunities with medical students, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include care for patients with a wide breadth of non-malignant hematologic disorders. Patient care responsibilities will involve both in- and outpatient service.
