Job Description:
Manhattanville University invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity in the School of Arts and Sciences. This position carries a teaching load of 30 credits per academic year and includes instruction in both Cybersecurity and Computer Science courses. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and interdisciplinary faculty committed to excellence in teaching, student engagement, and applied learning. This is a renewable, non-tenure-track position with a focus on teaching excellence and professional engagement.

None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate courses in Cybersecurity and Computer Science, including foundational and advanced topics.
Develop and update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and emerging technologies.
Advise and mentor students in academic and career planning.
Participate in departmental, school, and university service, including committee work and program development.
Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to support the growth of technology-related programs.
Engage in professional development to stay current in the field.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level.
Experience with hands-on labs, simulations, and experiential learning.
Familiarity with current cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and threat analysis.
Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+). (Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary:
The annual salary for this position is $72,000-$73,000.
Hours Expectation:
Full-time, 35 hours per week
