Our mission is to improve brain health over the life course to facilitate healthy aging. The Specialist's key responsibilities will be to conduct brain health epidemiological research including data analysis and synthesis; preparation of materials for grant submissions, conference presentations, and academic publications as a co-author; as well as coordination of day-to-day research activities.   Job Summary   Under the supervision of Adam Boxer, MD, PhD and Adam Staffaroni, PhD, the Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) will have the opportunity to work on studies that seek to improve equitable access to care by validating digital (i.e., smartphone assessments) and blood-based biomarkers of dementia, with a focus on underrepresented groups. The ACRC will work on UCSF-based and multi-center North American studies of Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, and healthy aging. The ACRC will primarily be working with Spanish-speaking participants; they will help with cross-cultural implementation, recruiting and enrolling participants from community clinics, and interviewing participants about their experiences.
