Adjunct Instructor - Biology SUNY Orange is recognized for its excellence in teaching and takes pride in its role in educating the next generation of students. The Biology department invites applications from individuals with a commitment to excellence in teaching students from diverse backgrounds. We are currently seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach 'Introduction to Biology' (BIO 110) an introductory course (2 lec., 3 lab., 3 cr.) covering the scientific method, basic chemistry, cell biology, structure and function of the vertebrate body, cellular division and genetics. The course is designed for students with little or no academic background in biological sciences and want to pursue a career in the health professions or biology. Introduction to Biology is regularly taught on both our campuses (Middletown and Newburgh) Fall, Spring, and Summer; both day and evening sections are offered.
