    Corpus Christi College invites applications for a five-year full time (1.0) faculty position in History at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position is designed as a 5-year renewable appointment and will begin on August 1, 2026. Corpus Christi College does not have a tenure system, but candidates who successfully complete their first term will be considered for a continuing appointment. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in History or be close to completion at the time of appointment. We seek an outstanding and enthusiastic teacher and colleague with demonstrated excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship. While this is an open field competition, we especially welcome applicants with experience and interest in teaching in two or more of the following areas: Medieval History, European & British History, Canadian history, Indigenous peoples’ history, Asian history, art history and Church history.

Position description The Department of Biology in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Concordia University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position and Tier II Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Applied Synthetic Biology at the rank of Assistant Professor. The CRC will support and expand upon Concordia University’s research programs in synthetic biology, bioengineering and biomanufacturing with an applied focus on sustainability, food security, and/or human health. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in the design and engineering of microbial, plant, and/or mammalian cells in areas such as (but not limited to) renewable energies, biomaterials, foods, or medical therapeutics. They will establish a research program that will benefit from, and foster growth of, our state-of-the-art Centre for Applied Synthetic Biology, Centre for Structural and Functional Genomics, Genome Foundry, and Bioprocessing Facility.  The successful...
