Community Service Officer Primary Purpose: The Community Service Officer is responsible for supporting activities that maintain a safe and secure community environment and to promote a sense of confidence and trust in the Department of Public Safety and throughout the University Community. They are responsible for providing administrative support in areas of Community Service, Parking Enforcement and Special Events Management. Essential Functions:
Manages the Event Security Officer staff for the University, including the hiring and discipline of these staff members
Work with all groups having events (whether internal or external), including athletics, external events booking, Organized Student Groups, and Campus Event Staff, to ensure security staff and resources are available to meet needs as requested, and provide cost proposals and oversee request processing for services while staying within an allotted budget.
