Advanced Standardized Patient (ASP) (Temporary) Primary Purpose: Advanced Standardized Patients (ASP) are trained for the more sensitive medical examinations, including pelvic, genital, rectal, and breast examinations. These are scheduled less frequently, generally three to four (3-4) times a year. ASPs that participate in these types of examinations will be expected to fully disrobe to the appropriate level for these types of exams.
