Admissions Counselor Primary Purpose: The JD Admissions Counselor reports to the Senior Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid and Diversity Initiatives. The Admissions Counselor performs duties relative to the law school admissions application process including data entry of applicant information, responding to applicant inquiries via telephone, e-mail and in person, as well as distributing information and providing counsel regarding the law school application process generally, and the law school specifically. The admissions counselor works with the Director of Admissions and the Senior Admissions Counselor as well. Essential Functions: Assist with maintaining the JD applicant database (Aces2) including new applications, updates, event management, and communications.
