Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role As a Lecturer in Soil Science, you will contribute to teaching excellence and original research within the Earth and Environmental Science Team. Your research will focus on soil biogeochemistry and/or pedology, complementing and strengthening the School's research profile. You will teach soil science across undergraduate to masters-level programmes, contribute to postgraduate supervision, and participate in the academic and administrative life of the School. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), based at our Hillcrest Campus. The role is offered for three years, with a possible extension to four years, subject to funding.   The CNR Associate Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the College's academic, credit-bearing instructional mission. This position reports to the CNR Dean, provides administrative support for all academic programs, and serves as a liaison to the dean on academic issues, supporting faculty and staff. The ADAA serves as a key member of the CNR “Dean Team” and participates in recruiting, budget, personnel, planning, and other critical issues related to the college.
