Registered Nurse (Part-Time or Per Diem) Primary Purpose: The Operating Room (OR)/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and immediately after surgical procedures. The OR/PACU Nurse collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes. Essential Functions: Contribute to OR/PACU workflow, policy, and patient care protocol development and implementation. Assess patients prior to surgery and review medical histories, laboratory results, and surgical consents. Supports the operating room, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
