Trial Advocacy Adjunct Professor Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (McGeorge), invites applications for adjunct faculty in the Trial Advocacy program. Specifically, we have openings for an adjunct faculty position to teach a trial advocacy class in collaboration with two full-time faculty members, and we have openings for several mock trial coaching positions. Both the teaching position and the coaching positions are non-tenure-track positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy would be responsible for co-teaching a trial advocacy course which entails collaborating with two full-time trial advocacy professors, attending a lecture one evening a week, and teaching a small group section of the trial advocacy course on a separate evening. The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for a visiting lawyering skills position limited to the 2025-26 academic year. We seek applications from exceptional candidates who have a demonstrated interest in skills teaching, and who are excited about being part of a collegial, student-oriented, committed faculty.
