The Faculty of Law at National University of Singapore (“NUS Law”) seeks to appoint a distinguished legal scholar to be the inaugural Tan Ah Tah Professor in Law. We welcome applications from scholars of exceptional calibre from any field of expertise. Successful candidates will have a record of achievement reflecting world-class research excellence, a demonstrable commitment to teaching and mentoring, and the capacity to enrich the intellectual community and strategic aspirations of NUS Law and the University. This Chair was endowed by the late Madam Eileen Tan in honour of her father, Justice Tan Ah Tah, who was the first Singaporean to sit on the Supreme Court of this country.
