ACADEMIC ADVISOR (2 POSITIONS) Position Number: S-3851 Position Summary: An Academic Advisor manages a case load of students with a goal of providing comprehensive support for their academic performance, goals, and timely completion of their degree. An Advisor is responsible for assisting students with advising on majors, career exploration and development of academic planning strategies. Utilizing technology and other resources, Academic Advisors work directly with students on course sequencing, success skills and habits and provide guidance that assist with progression toward degree completion. Advisors engage with new students and supporters through new student orientation and support college transition and student success.
