COORDINATOR / LICENSURE & REGULATORY SERVICES

Position Summary:
This position provides support for state authorization, licensure compliance, and regulatory compliance functions related to the delivery of university courses (credit and non-credit), programs, and other academic-related activities, primarily those delivered off-campus and online. This frequently involves gathering relevant information, understanding it, and compiling information to provide to the executive director, or to others as directed. This position also provides support to the executive director through the coordination and preparation of agreements and related processes, including MOAs/MOUs, site agreements, and other academic agreements as identified. This position also maintains departmental websites and coordinates reconciliation of departmental budgets. If requested, this position may work with senior leadership, managers, staff, and academic partners among others in support of these activities. This position is expected to perform with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness, and critical thinking.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience that equates to four years.
Two (2) years of relevant professional/administrative work experience.
Ability to prepare information/compile data in formats suitable for submission and/or providing to others.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong self-starter, with an attention to detail, highly organized, with an ability to function in ambiguous environments.
Ability to understand complex issues, ask appropriate questions, and apply information to the working environment.
Ability to follow-through and meet deadlines.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment, project a positive image, and foster positive collegiality.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior work experience in a legal, regulatory, or higher education environment.
Demonstrated familiarity and work experience with contractual or related documents, state authorization, and/or regulations.
Ability to effectively conduct internet research.
Experience with budget reconciliation responsibilities.
Ability to compile, organize, and use research data to prepare reports and required authorization submission support documents.
Knowledge of email and Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online systems, and an awareness of how to leverage technology in the performance of duties and responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists the executive director by providing robust support related to the coordination of civilian domestic and international MOAs/MOUs, site agreements, and other academic agreements as needed.
Assists with state authorization compliance efforts for all off-campus, online, and distance education activities, including compliance with all related regulations, laws, and policies.
Assists with the compliance activities related to programs leading to professional licensure, including conducting research of relevant regulations, maintaining general program disclosures and providing timely, accurate, and direct disclosures to students as required by federal law.
Maintains departmental websites, state authorization resources, and professional licensure/certification disclosures in an accurate, current, and thorough manner.
Coordinates the reconciliation of departmental budgets and identifies any areas of concern.
Assists with the research and understands the requirements of state authorization and other related regulatory laws, statutes, and regulations that help inform the executive director on pending and/or anticipated regulatory requirements, and on submission and compliance requirements that relate to the delivery of university courses (credit and non-credit), programs, and/or other covered academic-related activities.
Contributes to the completion of other responsibilities within the department as requested or needed.
