The Department of Architecture Engineering Design (www.uvu.edu/aed) invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in Architecture to begin August 1, 2026.
The architecture faculty member develops and teaches a wide range of architectural design studio and other courses such as architectural theory, graphic communication, theory, history, and building science. The faculty member engages in scholarly activities that contribute to the mission of the university, department, and profession. In addition, the faculty member provides service at the department, college, and university levels.

The Department of Architecture & Engineering Design at Utah Valley University offers a five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree that prepares students for professional licensure and leadership in the built environment. The program is distinguished by its commitment to a 21st-century classical approach, one that treats architecture as a living tradition grounded in human-scale design, craft, sustainability, and cultural continuity while engaging contemporary technologies and professional practice. The department also offers complementary pathways, including associate degrees and certificates, that support diverse routes into the profession.
The successful candidate will join a growing, collaborative faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching, mentoring, and community engagement. This position offers the opportunity to shape curriculum, contribute to a nationally recognized accreditation effort, and work closely with students in a studio-centered learning environment.
