Job Description:

The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role involves transforming complex datasets into clear, meaningful reports and visualizations, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to improve business performance. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility while leveraging analytical tools and best practices to drive data-informed outcomes.

Essential Duties:
  • Use statistical methods, data mining techniques, and visualization tools to explore and analyze data
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within datasets that can inform business decisions
  • Build predictive models, forecast future trends, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Explain complex data in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate to implement data-driven strategies
  • Perform recurring data audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Create advanced data visualizations and blended datasets in Workday Prism to integrate Workday and non-Workday data sources
  • Ensure data integrity, security, source control, and compliance with KCU policies and privacy regulations
  • Deliver specialized, time-sensitive reports to meet emerging business needs


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics
  • 2-5 years of analytics experience leveraging large, multi-source datasets using analytic tools (e.g., Python, Power BI, Tableau)
  • High degree of discretion, judgment, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with configuring Workday reports (including advanced and composite reports) and calculated fields
  • Knowledge of Workday data sources and business objects
  • Experience building data sets leveraging Workday Prism Analytics
