https://colfa.utsa.eduThe Interdisciplinary School for Engagement (ISE)The Interdisciplinary School for Engagement (ISE) in the College of Liberal and Fine Arts at UT San Antonio houses four undergraduate majors and seven minors. It consists of more than 25 tenure/tenure track and fixed-term-track faculty members serving more than 850 students. Given its unique mission, the ISE serves as a home for interdisciplinary programs as well as a makerspace and intellectual incubator for new programs in the humanities and social sciences. It is also committed to provide space for collaborative learning and teaching and engage our students in experiential learning and discovery.
Position SummaryThe successful candidate will teach four courses per semester across a range of subject areas, including producing, cinematography, digital video production, set operations, the business of film, and more, as well as contributing extensive program service and student mentoring.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications- Documented teaching experience at the university level in cinematography, digital video production, and producing.
- Experience mentoring San Antonio students.
- Extensive and current experience in the industry, including in producing for commercial production and vertical video production.
- Professional experience in cinematography or photography; and a deep knowledge of local film industry.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications- Ideal candidate will have a demonstrable history of student job placements.
