
QUALIFICATIONS:
• PhD in Criminal Justice/Criminology or a closely related social science discipline, or a Juris Doctorate with a master's degree in criminal justice/criminology or a closely related social science discipline.
• Experience in teaching undergraduate criminal justice classes is required.
• Show history or ability to publish peer-reviewed research articles and writing grants.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Pre-Employment screening is required: criminal background check and drug-testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform teaching, scholarship, service, professional development, and program assessment for accreditation.
• Teach undergraduate criminal justice courses.
• Perform student advising and partake in student recruitment.
• Work collaboratively with other faculty, staff, and students to advance the mission of the Department and University.
• Perform other faculty responsibilities as outlined in the faculty handbook.
