Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $95,000.00 Annually
Maximum $105,000.00 Annually
Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Recognized knowledge and experience in periodontal diagnostic and treatment services.
- Ability to communicate effectively to both individuals and groups in writing and orally.
- Ability to interact in an effective and positive manner with individuals of diverse backgrounds,
- including administration, faculty, residents, students, staff, patients, and outside contacts.
- Ability to effectively conduct detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in an academic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or equivalent.
- Active California dental license or be qualified to obtain California licensure
- Completed accredited residency program in Periodontics
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Specialty Board Certification or Board Eligibility required
- Experience: Clinical practice, academic medicine, and/or clinical research experience is desirable
