Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Electrical Engineering, University of North Dakota The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of North Dakota invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2020. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or a closely-related field, a strong potential to develop an internationally recognized research program with sustained external funding, and a commitment to high quality undergraduate and graduate instruction. The research area of interest for this position is the general topic of high frequency electromagnetics including the focus areas of antennas, microwave circuits, millimeter wave circuits, metamaterials, and similar topics. The school is particularly interested in candidates whose past and future research will contribute to UND’s Grand Challenges of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Human Health, Rural Health and Communities, Autonomous Systems, and Big Data.
