Primary responsibilities are teaching, research, scholarship, and service. This position builds and leads the natural/cultural history interpretation portion of an undergraduate environmental education and interpretation program (EE/I). Teaching responsibilities within the EE/I and Wildlife Education programs include courses in oral interpretation methods, interpretive media, and environmental interpretation practicum for the CNR’s various field stations. This is a joint annual appointment with the UWSP CNR within the Environment & Society discipline and the Center for Land Use Education (CLUE). As a UWSP faculty member, the candidate has responsibilities for undergraduate teaching of upper-level courses (40% of the position) and for outreach education with CLUE (60% of the position), which is partially funded through an agreement with the Division of Extension at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Interested candidates should apply by April 30, 2026, for full consideration.
