USER SERVICES SPECIALIST Position Number: S-3974 Position Summary:
Oversees User Services Operations Sunday through Thursday evenings. Shares oversight and responsibilities of the User Services functions that include: Collection Maintenance, Inventory, Microforms Printers/Copiers/Scanners, patron safety and compliance, and stewardship of the building. Hires, schedules, trains, supervises and evaluates student employees in all aspects of customer service and other functions of the unit.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree. One year of library work experience or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct the work of others. Effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
