Payroll Specialist University of Mount Union Salary: Location: Description Function of Position: Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payrolls for the hourly (bi-weekly), salary (monthly) payrolls and the student payroll (semi-monthly). Responsibilities Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Process monthly and semi-monthly payrolls including collection of all necessary data for input to the colleague system for accurate pay calculations. Providing audit reports for each pay for approval by Payroll manager. Organizing all aspects of each pay, including Stipends, Benefits, PTO, New Hires and Terminations. Updating all spreadsheets associated with Pay, Vacation, Fringe, and Taxes. Troubleshooting timecard issues and helping Supervisors with these issues.
