The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology (MGM) and the Center for NeuroGenetics (CNG) in the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the area of Genetics with a research focus on the roles of DNA repetitive (tandem and interspersed repeats) sequence elements in neurological and neuromuscular disease. We seek outstanding and productive investigators in various areas of genetics and molecular biology, including gene expression/regulation, molecular mechanisms of disease, single-cell omics, spatial omics, and other related fields, whose research will synergize with and further strengthen research in both MGM and the CNG.
