Assistant/Associate Professor of Comparative Ophthalmology (tenure track) The Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the UC Davis Weill School of Veterinary Medicine seeks candidates for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in the field of Comparative Ophthalmology. The position includes a 50% clinical commitment to the Ophthalmology Surgery service of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH), including night and weekend coverage, shared with 5 other ophthalmology faculty. Other responsibilities include teaching, professional competence, creative scholarship, and service. The current base pay range is $185,800 to $239,100. Other components of pay may be offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience.

The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) of Columbia University seeks an exceptional faculty member of any rank in the tenure track. The position is open to researchers interested in developing and applying informatics theory and achieving tangible benefits to health care and biology. Three foci are (1) machine learning for healthcare and health-related data science, (2) AI and technology-based interventions to improve health care and the health of individuals and populations, and (3) translational bioinformatics. DBMI is an interdisciplinary department, comprising 45 faculty members and 50 students and postdoctoral fellows.
