  The Department of Educational Studies ( http://www.edst.purdue.edu ) within the College of Education at Purdue University invites applications for a 9-month position, Visiting Assistant Professor of Higher Education to begin no later than August 16, 2027. The Higher Education program has delivered a redesigned, research-intensive, and successful Ph.D. program since 2019. In Spring 2025, the program area began offering an online Master’s degree in Educational Studies with a concentration in Higher Education Systems, Policy, and Leadership. The faculty are dedicated to preparing future administrators and faculty members in the field of higher education. This position will serve both the Ph.D. and Masters level degree programs and is set for an initial term of one year, with a potential second, mutually agreed upon year.

The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Purdue University invites applications for a faculty position in Experimental Relativistic Heavy-Ion Physics to begin August 2027. The current relativistic heavy-ion efforts in the department involve physics analyses of the RHIC/STAR/sPHENIX and LHC/CMS experiments, detector design and simulation works on the ePIC experiment at the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC), and AI-facilitated research on the EIC under the DOE's Genesis Mission. The successful candidate will establish a vibrant, externally funded research program, driving cutting-edge science in existing experiments while maintaining a strong leadership presence, and spearheading new hardware, software, and/or physics initiatives for EIC. The candidate will mentor graduate students and postdocs and contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.
